100 Books Before Graduation
100 Books Before Graduation is a challenge to teens in grades 6-12 to read 100 books before they graduate from high school. They can start it at any point during those grades up until they graduate. You can start signing up on or after September 3, 2024. Booklets can be picked up any time that the teen desk is staffed. Please call ahead at (978) 640-4490 ext. 279 to confirm that staff is available.
Our goal is to encourage a love of reading and to continue the habit for fun (rather than just for school).
EVERYTHING! Manga, audiobooks, graphic novels, fiction, and non-fiction at your reading level all count.
Every 10 books you read earns you a small prize. Every 25 books you read you get a raffle ticket for a bigger prize. Everyone who completes all 100 books will get an after high school prize kit (including their choice of a small sewing or tool kit), a book added to the library’s collection with a bookplate*, and their name on our library’s outdoor digital display!
*The book choice must be approved by the Teen Librarian
