Grow with your library this summer!

Summer Reading challenges and special events for all ages begin June 22nd! This year's theme is "Plant a Seed, Read" and TPL will be celebrating the great outdoors all summer long. Learn more about signing up for summer reading challenges for each age group below.

Children's Summer Reading Program:
- Sign up for Rubber Duckie Club or Read to Bead here!
- Rubber Duckie Club for preschool aged children
- Pick up forms in the Children's Room or print your copy here
- Participants receive a small prize and a raffle ticket when they color in a Mama Duck
- Challenge dates: Monday, June 22nd through Friday, August 21st
- Read to Bead for children entering kindergarten through grade 5
- Pick up forms in the Children's Room or print your copy here
- Earn beads for each day that you read this summer
- Get a raffle ticket for every 10 days you read and you'll be entered to win an exciting prize
- Challenge dates: Monday, June 22nd through Friday, August 21st

Teen Summer Challenge for students entering grades 6 to 12 in September 2026, or who graduated in June of 2026
- Earn raffle tickets for awesome prizes, like a brand new iPad, by reading or attending programs
- 1 day of reading = 1 ticket
- Attend one Teen event = 1 ticket

Adult Summer Reading for ages 18 and up:
- Log every day that you read no matter how much or how little, no matter what you read
- Register online at tewksburypl.beanstack.com or download the free Beanstack app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Log every day that you read this summer - no matter how much or how little, no matter what you read. (And audiobooks count too!) At the end of each day, we will raffle off a $10 gift card to Donna’s Donuts. If you log reading minutes on that day, you will be eligible to win the prize.
NOTE TO OUT-OF-TOWNERS: Summer Reading winners who do not live in or around Tewksbury can opt for a $10 gift card to Bookshop.org if traveling to Tewksbury is not practical. A limited number of these gift cards will be available.

The Tewksbury Community Market season takes place at Livingston Street Park (288 Livingston Street), behind the Recreation Center, from Thursday, June 4th to Thursday, September 24th, from 4pm to 7pm. Learn more, and stay up to date on future market vendors, at tewksburymarket.com.

TPL's annual summer concert series is back! Enjoy live music performances by local artists beginning Mondays, June 15th through July 27th from 6:300pm to 8:00pm, in the library's backyard. Stay tuned to the library's event calendar, here, and Facebook page, here, for updates in the event a concert is rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions. Seating is not provided, please plan accordingly by bringing your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Parking note: parking is available in TPL's main parking lot and a dedicated overflow lot located near the entrance of Hospital Road, across from the library's main driveway. This is a dirt lot for attendees to park in. Please do not park or block any part of Hospital Road.

Anyone can grow their own flowers, herbs, and produce! Located on the second floor, across from the library's paperback collection, the TPL Seed Library is free and open to everyone each spring and summer. Grab three packs of seeds per visit to grow your own flowers, herbs, fruit, or vegetables at home. Learn more here.
