The American Library Association has a list of resources for teens in trouble
(and the people that care for them!).
Best Fiction for Young Adults. The Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of the American Library Association, announced it's Best Fiction for Young Adults book list.The list contains 99 books selected by a committee of librarians. A display of the books will be on display in the Teen Section of the Library. The Library
owns 58 of the 99 titles on the list! You can reserve the others on the list using the Library's online catalog. Here is a list of the Top 10:

It's the season for awards! The American Library Association has recently announced the Alex Award. The Alex Awards were created to recognize that many teens enjoy and often prefer books written for adults, and to assist librarians in recommending adult books that appeal to teens.
