One Stop Summer Reading Spot

A Universe of Stories is the summer reading theme

Summer Reading is here and we've got a program for everyone!

Registration for both the Children's Summer Reading Program and for the Teen Summer Reading Challenge begin on June 17th and the programs run through August 9th. Click on the links below to find out more about the programs:

  • Children's Summer Reading Program for kids entering Preschool (age 3) to students entering 5th grade. Earn beads for every 15 minutes spent reading and earn raffle tickets for every hour read to try and win one of over 40 prizes. Click here for more information.
  • Teen Summer Reading Challenge for students entering grades 6 to 12. Complete different challenge activities to win prizes and earn raffle tickets. Click here for more about this program.
  • Adult Summer Reading for ages 18 and up: simply write down the title of a book you just read to enter that week's raffle. Entry forms and what the weekly prize is will be available at the front desk.  Here's a link to some great booklists for adults that we've created if you need something new to read.

Looking for Tewksbury Public Schools Summer Reading lists and assignments? CLICK HERE to see those.

Click on our Catalog to look for the books you need. If our copy is checked out but another library owns it, or if you want to be on the waiting list, you can request it online through the catalog--just log in with your library card and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number unless you've changed the password yourself).

Lost your summer reading report sheets? Why YES, we do have reference copies of the lists and assignments, the schools have not provided us with extra copies to give away. You can print them out from online or photocopy ours, or check with your school's office to see if they have extras.
